March 2026

The Sohal Lab is now part of the Biodiscovery Institute (BDI) at UNT. BDI brings together researchers across disciplines to solve complex biological challenges, including cancer. The institute also provides professional development opportunities for graduate students and postdocs.

We are grateful to the BDI for welcoming us and look forward to collaborating with other BDI members to accelerate scientific discovery.

We’re thrilled to welcome two highly motivated undergraduate students – Tanvi Verma and Diya Patel, as the very first members of the lab! 🚀

We’re especially excited to have them contribute to both the lab setup and our research efforts as we get things rolling.
